New technology has made a huge impact on commercial auto insurance.

Louie Duane Beck "Duane," age 65 of Trenton, danced through heaven's open gate, Thursday, April 22, 2021.

Duane was a life-long community member, business owner, and friend to many. As a third-generation well driller, he gave water to the thirsty - in practice and in spirit. Duane was a long-serving board member of the South Carolina Ground Water Association and was currently serving as an at-large director. He was an avid softball dad and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he met his wife Evelyn Mappus Beck 39 years ago.

Duane was the son of the late Calvin and Ruby Beck. He is survived by his brother Calvin LeRoy Beck, Jr. (Sharon). He is survived by wife Evelyn, three children: Kevin Duane Beck (Ashley), Kaylee Beck Erdman (Ben), and Kara Beck Dye (Parker), and two grandchildren: Bennie Erdman and Ruby Dye, and was waiting for the arrival of Aurora Beck. Duane loved fiercely and was loved fiercely in return.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the SC Ground Water Association Scholarship Fund or the Wardlaw Academy Softball Team.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 27th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
