Our MissionSCGWA supports the interests of the ground water industry in South Carolina and protects the rights of all South Carolinians to own and use private wells. SCGWA encourages education, fair and applicable standards, research, and the use of the most advanced technology to improve well construction and to advance the science of ground water hydrology. SCGWA promotes cooperation among interested groups and governmental agencies in the protection, use, and management of South Carolina’s underground water supplies. SCGWA collects and disseminates information to the public about the ground water industry in South Carolina and the benefits of a properly maintained water well.
